Lancaster County Migrant Education
Many of the workers that the Pennsylvania Farmworker Project (PFP) works with live in small, rural and somewhat isolated communities. Our partnerships with service providers throughout the state of Pennsylvania allow us to reach clients who might otherwise not be able to access our services.
Lancaster County Migrant Education has been a long-time partner to PFP, even as we continue to seek new ways to do outreach during the Covid-19 pandemic. The staff at Lancaster Migrant Education has always welcomed PFP to outreach events, and recently partnered with us to do a virtual ‘Know Your Rights’ presentation with parents in the program. These partnerships have been vital to our success in our work with the farmworkers.
