Over 17,000 Homes Saved
The Save Your Home Philly Hotline is a partnership between the City of Philadelphia and Philadelphia Legal Assistance. The Hotline is just one part of the City’s broader foreclosure prevention and home preservation efforts, which range from City-funded housing counseling support for homeowners in the Court’s Mortgage Foreclosure Diversion Program to support for resolving tangled titles and tax foreclosures.
If you are behind on your mortgage or property tax payments, dealing with a mortgage or tax foreclosure, dealing with a ‘tangled title’, or just have questions about your property, we can help. The Hotline is staffed by trained lawyers and paralegals who can answer your questions, connect you with a housing counselor or, in certain instances, refer you to legal services available to eligible low-income homeowners. We provide advice, brief service, and connect thousands of callers to housing counselors each year.
If you are a tenant facing eviction, please visit the City’s Eviction Diversion program.
