Employment Discrimination

In legal terms, “Employment Discrimination” is when an employer treats workers differently based on their national origin, race or skin color, ethnicity, sex or gender, disability, age over 40, or religion.  You might notice that certain people in your workplace seem to get certain privileges or special treatment more often.  Or, you might hear some people on a job insult or harrass you or other coworkers because you are different from them. Unfortunately, workplace discrimination is common, but it is never okay.

If you have experienced something like this and think there discrimination in your workplace, call us! We can talk through and help you identify incidents or patterns of discrimination and support you to take whatever action you want to feel safe.
